XRP maintained steady trading on Sunday, showing a slight 2% increase over the past week despite a turbulent market influenced by the CLARITY Act discussions and Middle East tensions involving the U.S.

Exchange data reveals significant withdrawal activity for XRP. Coinbase experienced its highest net withdrawal transaction count in about five months, with approximately 13,000 net withdrawals recorded on July 15, surpassing the previous low of 12,300 in mid-February. This represents a decline of roughly 700 transactions, indicating a growing gap between withdrawals and deposits.

Similar trends appeared on Binance, where the seven-day net withdrawal metric dropped to around 5,600, a level last seen in February. However, Coinbase’s negative net withdrawal count was approximately 2.3 times greater, marking it as the most impacted exchange in terms of XRP outflows.

Bybit showed the most dramatic market structure change, shifting from a positive net transaction balance of +27,000 on June 7 to nearly neutral at -220 by July 15. This swing of over 27,000 transactions points to a fading deposit dominance rather than a surge in withdrawals.

Investor Behavior and Market Sentiment

According to CryptoQuant analyst Amr Taha, the concurrent negative net transaction counts across Coinbase, Binance, and Bybit suggest a wider behavioral shift among XRP holders that could benefit bullish investors. Historically, sustained outflows from exchanges tend to reduce selling pressure by limiting available liquidity.

Supporting this, on-chain data from Santiment indicates growing optimism toward XRP, with the token recording its highest fear of missing out (FOMO) level in five weeks. XRP attracted approximately 3.02 bullish comments for every bearish one, surpassing Ethereum’s 2.31 ratio and far exceeding Bitcoin’s more neutral 1.40 ratio.

Market analysts caution, however, that such elevated bullish sentiment might also signal a risk of short-term price weakness or slower recovery momentum, as extreme optimism has often served as a contrarian indicator in crypto markets.
