Triple-A’s crypto wallets have been compromised, with attackers siphoning off close to $9.7 million worth of assets. These losses span several blockchains, including TRON, Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum. On-chain analyst Specter alerted the public to the breach earlier today, highlighting a significant security gap that has yet to be addressed by the company.
How the Hack Unfolded
The stolen assets were first swapped and then bridged to Ethereum’s network, consolidating the funds into a single wallet holding around 5,227 ETH, valued at approximately $9.7 million. Specter pointed out that Triple-A still appears unaware of the ongoing drain, as deposits remain active and continue to be emptied.
This incident is part of a troubling wave of crypto thefts recently observed. On July 23 alone, three attacks totaled over $35 million in losses, affecting platforms like AFX Trade and the Verus Ethereum bridge. The latter experienced a previous exploit in May, which resulted in the loss of around $11.58 million.
Triple-A has not yet commented on the situation. Meanwhile, the industry continues grappling with heightened security challenges as hackers exploit vulnerabilities across networks.
