Rosen, a social-economy app built on the Hedera network, is connecting users worldwide by offering paid microtasks settled in USDC stablecoin. Currently, the platform supports participants from approximately 200 countries, helping to overcome barriers like banking access and language for nearly 3 billion people excluded from traditional online work.
By combining AI-driven translation with quick, low-cost stablecoin payments, Rosen allows users and small businesses to post and complete tiny tasks across language boundaries. The app relies on Hedera’s blockchain to offer transaction fees near $0.001 and near-instant settlements, making frequent micro-payments viable. Rosen’s CEO, Sita Zhang, calls the platform an "opportunity factory" for underrepresented individuals seeking global economic access.
Growth and Support
Rosen has over 41,000 registered users and has onboarded 100 brands so far. While the startup has not disclosed detailed revenue or transaction volumes, its backing includes major names like PayPal, Google, and Hedera itself. This support underlines confidence in Rosen’s model to harness blockchain technology for cross-border digital labor markets.
The project highlights the advantages of blockchain payments over traditional cross-border banking, including rapid USDC transfers and low fees that make tiny, frequent payments practical. Rosen’s approach could empower millions worldwide to earn through small online tasks, previously inaccessible due to financial or linguistic hurdles.
