RISEx has rolled out Ignite: Season 1, a brand-new loyalty and points system, after its closed beta phase recorded over $3 billion in trading volume. The fully on-chain perpetuals exchange runs on the high-speed RISE Chain and has backing from notable investors including Galaxy Ventures and Vitalik Buterin.

Key Facts Behind the Launch

The Ignite program stands out because it allocates 100% of its RISE points directly to RISEx users, covering traders, liquidity providers, and developers integrating code. This approach contrasts with other platforms that disperse incentives widely across ecosystems. Since the beta began, the exchange processed more than $3 billion in cumulative trading volume, maintained open interest above $26 million, and locked over $15 million in total value. The user base exceeded 15,000, built exclusively through a merit-based referral model.

RISEx's launch aligns with a broader shift in the crypto derivatives space where decentralized perpetual contracts are gaining ground over centralized exchanges. The platform has already deployed advanced features like cross-asset netted margining and introduced native trading of Real-World Assets (RWA). These technical milestones set the stage for Ignite Season 1 to accelerate global expansion.

Industry Response and Company Insights

Sam Battenally, CEO and co-founder of RISE Labs, emphasized that the team prioritized solidifying the exchange’s core infrastructure before launching any incentives. He said, “We didn’t want to push out a points program early just to inflate volume temporarily or hide unfinished features. Instead, we focused on stabilizing critical functions like reduce-only GTC orders and securing deep liquidity.”

With the core system now operating at a high-performance level, the Ignite program will advance in tandem with product development milestones rather than follow a traditional marketing calendar. This method reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable growth and quality user engagement.
