Ripple Prime has tripled its year-over-year revenue amid growing institutional demand for blockchain-powered 24/7 finance. This surge reflects the company's role as a key infrastructure provider in what executives call Wall Street 2.0.

Michael Higgins, Ripple Prime's international CEO, stated that despite the ongoing crypto winter, the institutional sector is accelerating adoption of digital assets and blockchain infrastructure. The move toward continuous market access demands always-on infrastructure, which Ripple Prime delivers.

The company’s rapid expansion follows Ripple’s $1.25 billion acquisition of Hidden Road in October 2025. This deal, combined with Ripple’s substantial balance sheet, positioned Ripple Prime to expand its offerings in multi-asset clearing and financing across foreign exchange, derivatives, swaps, fixed income, and digital assets.

also Ripple Prime secured a $200 million debt facility from Neuberger Specialty Finance to enhance margin financing capacity. This allows the company to provide liquidity to institutional clients operating between traditional finance and digital markets.

Ripple Prime replaces legacy bank payment rails with blockchain technology, enabling 24/7 collateral management via RLUSD, a regulated US dollar-backed stablecoin. This removes the need for large capital buffers required during weekends and holidays under traditional prime brokerage.

Higgins noted that Wall Street banks face steep challenges entering the digital prime brokerage space, as major market makers in US equities and FX are no longer banks. Ripple Prime’s unified technology stack adapts quickly to various asset classes and venues, offering a competitive advantage over legacy systems.
