Pi Network has distributed 10 million SLICE tokens in its second Launchpad test, marking a key step toward its Mainnet launch. This test allows users, known as Pioneers, to engage directly with liquidity pools, automated pricing models, and token swapping, providing hands-on experience with the platform's future ecosystem.
Unlike typical token launches focused on fundraising, the SLICE test aims to educate users about how Pi's upcoming tokens will operate in real-world scenarios. Participants can experiment with liquidity provision and trades, gaining insight into the economic mechanisms that will underpin Pi’s decentralized finance environment.
According to Pi Network representatives, this approach is designed to familiarize the community with the technical and functional aspects of the platform before the full Mainnet release. By testing liquidity pools and automated pricing now, the team hopes to smooth the transition and reduce potential friction when the system goes live.
