Hyperscale Data just boosted its Bitcoin stash by 18.59 BTC, pushing the total to 1,106.04 coins. Valued around $70 million at current rates, this incremental buy marks another step in the company's aggressive accumulation strategy.
Back in early 2025, Hyperscale Data held roughly 11 BTC. In less than two years, that number skyrocketed past 1,000 Bitcoins. By March 2026, the firm owned approximately 628 BTC. The momentum accelerated in July with a series of significant acquisitions: 67 BTC, then 50.65 BTC, and a jump to 1,087.45 BTC by July 21, culminating in the recent purchase that crossed the 1,100 BTC mark.
Dual Approach to Bitcoin Accumulation
The company combines open-market transactions with Bitcoin mining output, which helps diversify their accumulation methods and reduces dependence on timing the market. Executive Chairman Milton “Todd” Ault III emphasizes Bitcoin as a core treasury asset to add financial flexibility within their broader AI infrastructure and computing operations. Hyperscale Data aims to grow its Bitcoin reserves to an ambitious $100 million benchmark.
In addition to Bitcoin, Hyperscale Data holds 10,000 ounces of silver, demonstrating a multi-asset approach to treasury management.
With their ongoing accumulation, Hyperscale Data joins public firms like MicroStrategy in treating Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset. Their operations in AI data centers and high-performance computing complement the Bitcoin strategy, as both rely heavily on access to affordable power and advanced infrastructure. The recent purchases during a period of high Bitcoin prices suggest the company is committed to building its position irrespective of short-term market fluctuations.
