HSK Chain has officially appointed Morpho as its onchain credit partner following a strategic agreement signed in Hong Kong. The move targets building a lending ecosystem centered on institutional users across Asia.

The partnership, confirmed on July 28, combines HSK Chain’s compliant infrastructure with Morpho’s decentralized lending protocol. Morpho will fully deploy on HSK Chain, marking a significant step to integrate permissionless lending services tailored for both retail and institutional borrowers. Together, the firms aim to develop a range of credit and yield products secured by Bitcoin and real world assets, while increasing the pool of institutional-grade collateral accepted through Morpho.

Bridging DeFi and Traditional Finance

At the signing event, industry leaders from Galaxy Digital, Steakhouse, and Timeless Silver joined discussions on topics including institutional lending, tokenized assets, and stablecoins. The collaboration highlights a growing trend where regulated financial infrastructure blends with decentralized finance protocols to unlock more capital-efficient solutions.

Alongside this partnership, HashKey Exchange listed MORPHO tokens for professional investors on the very same day, enabling trading against the US dollar. While exact launch dates and initial lending markets remain undisclosed, the integration signals a promising push towards expanding DeFi capabilities in key Asian markets.

HSK Chain and Morpho’s collaboration could reshape access to credit by presenting institutions with new options backed by digital and physical assets. The partnership stands out in a crowded field, aiming to bring transparency and compliance to onchain lending.
