SpaceX shares dropped again last week, closing at $115.07 on Friday after losing 2.68% in a single day. This continued the stock’s downward trend from recent sessions. Despite the slump, ChatGPT’s AI analysis suggests a fresh all-time high (ATH) is still achievable within a relatively short period.
Growth Drivers and Challenges for SpaceX
The company currently holds its peak stock price of $225.64 from June 16. ChatGPT points out SpaceX’s unique position as a conglomerate managing multiple advanced tech businesses, which could fuel a rebound if its expansion plans proceed as expected. The AI identified several factors that may push the stock higher, such as an expanding Starlink user base, improved rocket launch schedules, enhanced profitability measures, and the rising role of Starship as a commercial venture.
On the other hand, ChatGPT cautioned that SpaceX’s hefty initial valuation of $1.77 trillion presents a significant obstacle relative to the company’s recent financial indicators. This high valuation remains a headwind the stock must overcome to rally.
Projected Timeline for SpaceX’s Next Peak
According to ChatGPT, the stock could hit a new ATH around April 27, 2027. This date fits with expectations that investors will have fully digested key market events such as the IPO-related insider lockup expiration and the company’s inclusion in the Nasdaq-100 index. on top of that, by that time, several earnings releases should clarify SpaceX’s operational standing and help align its fundamentals with market valuation.
The forecasted peak price is approximately $248 per share. That would represent a 115.52% gain from the most recent close and nearly a 10% rise above the current ATH, marking a reasonably modest advance that doesn’t depend on an extreme hype cycle like the one following SpaceX's IPO.
