Capital Group’s SMALLCAP World Fund has increased its holding in Strive, Inc. by 481,772 shares, bringing its total stake to 2.93 million shares worth about $33.6 million. Strive, traded under the ticker ASST on Nasdaq, runs a unique asset management model focused on Bitcoin treasury management.

Strive manages over $2 billion in assets and uses Bitcoin as a benchmark rather than conventional equity indices. The company holds roughly 19,900 BTC in its treasury, aiming to grow Bitcoin per share faster than Bitcoin's own price appreciation.

Data from late April showed Capital Group entities owning around 2.63 million shares, so this latest purchase signals consistent confidence. The SMALLCAP World Fund is a global small-cap equity mutual fund with a long-term growth focus, not a cryptocurrency or speculative fund.

Fidelity has also been reported as an institutional investor in Strive, highlighting growing interest in its hybrid Bitcoin and asset management business model beyond strictly crypto-native funds.

Investors will be watching if Capital Group’s ownership crosses the 5% threshold that requires further regulatory filings, and if other large mutual funds join the shareholder list. Strive’s ability to increase Bitcoin per share remains the key metric to monitor.
