Bitmine Immersion Technologies has expanded its Ethereum stash to almost 5.8 million tokens, pushing the company's total crypto and cash holdings to a striking $11.8 billion. This rapid accumulation places Bitmine just shy of owning 5% of all ETH coins, reaching 4.8% of the total supply within just 13 months.
Steady Growth and Strategic Moves
Based in Norwalk, Connecticut, Bitmine is aggressively building its position in the crypto space with a focus on long-term investment. Aside from its Ethereum holdings, the company holds 208 Bitcoins and significant stakes in other assets, including $180 million in Beast Industries and $61 million in Eightco (NASDAQ: ORBS), a rare public equity giving indirect exposure to OpenAI.
Bitmine’s ETH holdings include nearly 4.9 million tokens staked in the Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN), a key platform for institutional investors, valued at $9.6 billion at the current $1,948 per ETH rate. The company’s financial maneuvering also involves a $4 billion share repurchase program, under which it recently bought back 6.1 million common shares.
Supported by heavyweight institutional investors like ARK’s Cathie Wood, Pantera, Kraken, and Galaxy Digital, Bitmine secured a spot on the Russell 1000 Large-cap index in June 2026. Its Series A Preferred Stock trades on the NYSE as BMNP, reflecting growing investor confidence.
Bitmine’s total holdings combine crypto assets, cash, and marketable securities, with the latter standing at $268 million. This diversified portfolio reinforces the company's ambition of acquiring a 5% stake in Ethereum, a milestone nearly reached after just over a year.
