US spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced their weakest full week of trading since October 2024, with volume falling to approximately $8.05 billion over five sessions ending Friday. This marks a 14% decline compared to the previous week's $9.37 billion, reaching the lowest turnover during a full trading week since mid-October 2024, according to SoSoValue data.

Bitcoin’s price hovered around $64,000 for most of the week, showing little volatility and leading to decreased trading activity. Despite this, Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of roughly $33.8 million for the week, extending a three-week streak of inflows that began after a record eight-week outflow period ended in early July. However, the inflows weakened considerably compared to $75.7 million and $197.4 million in the prior two weeks.

The net inflows masked significant shifts within the week: by Wednesday, Bitcoin funds had attracted about $499.1 million, but investors withdrew $225.2 million on Thursday and an additional $240.1 million on Friday, erasing most gains. BlackRock’s IBIT fund, the largest in this category, saw a $414.7 million loss over those two days and ended the week down approximately $95.5 million. Meanwhile, the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF and Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust partially offset losses by adding $85.8 million and $78.1 million, respectively.

In contrast, Ether spot ETFs outperformed Bitcoin for the second consecutive week, drawing $103.9 million in inflows, more than triple Bitcoin’s weekly gains. This marks a third straight week of positive inflows for Ether products. The week prior, Ether ETFs attracted $105.4 million compared to Bitcoin’s $75.7 million. Ether ETFs now hold about $10.17 billion in net assets as of Friday.

Bitcoin ETFs continue to show a net outflow of roughly $5.23 billion for 2026, while Ether ETFs have seen outflows of about $1.15 billion since the start of the year.

Despite the sharp decline in trading volume for Bitcoin ETFs, Ether funds are steadily gaining traction, signaling shifting investor interest within the crypto ETF landscape.

Bitcoin prices remained relatively stable around $64,000, contributing to subdued market activity this week.
