ARK Invest increased its stake in BitMine Immersion Technologies and the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF by approximately $251,500 across three of its ETFs, as disclosed in Friday’s filings.

BitMine Shares Added to ARKK Portfolio

The ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) acquired 5,264 shares of BitMine Immersion Technologies, valued at about $83,100 based on BitMine’s closing price of $15.79. Although this addition represents just 0.0014% of ARKK’s total holdings, it signals ARK’s continued commitment to companies linked to the digital asset ecosystem, as BitMine markets itself as an Ethereum treasury firm.

This purchase was part of a broader portfolio rebalance within ARKK, which also included buying shares in X-Energy and offloading positions in Figma, Strata Critical Medical, ATAI Life Sciences, and Elbit Systems. These moves reflect ARK’s dynamic approach to reallocations amid shifting market conditions.

Expansion in Solana Through Staking ETF

Meanwhile, ARK’s Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) and Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) together added 28,018 shares of the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF (ticker SOLQ.U), spending roughly $168,400. ARKW snapped up 16,917 shares at approximately $101,700, while ARKF purchased 11,101 shares worth about $66,700. The Solana Staking ETF slid 2.12% to close at $6.01 on Friday, yet ARK’s investment signals confidence in Solana’s potential, particularly through staking exposure, which differs from direct SOL token ownership.

These transactions provide ARK with indirect yet strategic exposure to Solana's ecosystem. The staking angle potentially offers rewards streams tied to Solana's blockchain validation process, aligning with ARK’s broader interest in decentralized finance innovations.

Ongoing Active Portfolio Shifts

This week, ARK Invest continued its surge of notable buys, including nearly $60 million in shares of Tesla, Circle Internet Group, and Securitize during a volatile market session on Thursday. Tesla transactions alone formed over $51 million of that amount. Earlier in the week, $14 million was injected into SpaceX shares, emphasizing ARK’s focus on high-growth technology firms.

Friday's disclosures also pointed to new stakes in AI-focused ventures such as Pony AI, Kodiak AI, and Scribe Therapeutics, alongside bets on healthcare companies like Compass Pathways. These active maneuvers shows how ARK balances its portfolio across AI, digital assets, and biotech sectors amid ongoing market shifts.
