AlienWP, a digital resources outfit that has been around since 2013, is doing something slightly different: it launched a full iGaming news platform and then told everyone it is not a traditional affiliate website. It went live ahead of the company's main project, a player-facing dashboard called Alien Wise Play, which is still in development. It will not run a casino, handle payments or hand out gambling advice. Revenue comes from affiliate partnerships, though AlienWP is explicit that the product is designed around the player rather than around conversion funnels.
At the centre of the dashboard sits the Wise Play Score, an independent rating system that grades casinos on six criteria: licensing, trust, payment reliability, transparency, customer support and player protection. Future versions of the score will pull in aggregated player feedback and AI-assisted analysis, while staying editorially separate from the casinos being rated. That kind of independent scoring model is increasingly relevant as regulators in multiple jurisdictions tighten the rules around how casino comparison tools present information to users.
The Quote That Frames the Strategy
Oliver Dale, spokesperson for AlienWP, put it plainly: "Unveiling our iGaming news platform now means players already have access to clear, independent casino information while we finish work on Alien Wise Play. Both are built around the same idea: giving players honest information and the tools to make safer decisions."
The sequencing is deliberate. By building an editorial audience before the dashboard launches, AlienWP arrives with credibility rather than starting from zero.
