Solana is holding firm near $73 but still faces a key test at $74 before it can push higher. Despite several attempts to slide lower, buyers have stepped in each time, preventing a sharp drop. The market is in a delicate balance, waiting to see if SOL can reclaim the upper range and build momentum.
Consolidation and Possible Moves Ahead
Over the past five days, Solana’s price has hovered around the same level, showing resilience against sellers. On the one-hour chart, it’s clear the coin defends the $73 support zone well. Yet, this alone doesn’t guarantee a rally. For a bullish shift, SOL must break and hold above $74, which would open the door for an advance toward resistance areas near $74.50 and then $76.50.
If that happens, traders could see SOL pushing further toward $77.40 and maybe even testing highs around $79. But if the coin fails at $74 again, it might remain stuck in this tight range or retest lower support near $72.30. A drop below this floor would mark a confirmed breakdown, signaling sellers have gained control.
Currently, SOL trades around $73.74 on Binance futures, bouncing between $73.50 and $74. This narrow consolidation shows demand remains, despite pressure. A sustained move over $74 would be a positive signal for a short-term recovery, while rejection could leave Solana vulnerable to losses.
Bitcoin's recent dip highlights the cautious mood across crypto markets, which may impact Solana’s next moves as traders weigh risk carefully.
