United Stables announced the adoption of Chainlink as the official oracle and cross-chain infrastructure provider for its dollar-pegged U stablecoin. This move came after U's circulating supply surpassed $1 billion, alongside daily trading volumes exceeding $2.5 billion.

The integration includes Chainlink Data Feeds and Proof of Reserve services already live to enhance pricing accuracy and reserve verification. also United Stables plans to implement Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to facilitate secure transfers of U across multiple blockchain networks as the stablecoin expands its reach.

Security and Infrastructure Enhancements

United Stables initiated this shift following an extensive review of industry security standards prompted by recent incidents revealing vulnerabilities in traditional oracle and bridge systems. Challenges such as fragmented liquidity, unverified pricing data, and risks in cross-chain transfers were key concerns addressed by integrating Chainlink's decentralized infrastructure.

Chainlink Data Feeds now deliver decentralized and reliable pricing information across more than 20 lending protocols utilizing U. Meanwhile, Proof of Reserve allows transparent on-chain verification of the collateral underpinning the U stablecoin, which is backed one-to-one by cash and audited stablecoins including USDC, USDT, and USD1.

Launched in December 2025 on BNB Chain and Ethereum, U serves various applications including trading, payments, decentralized finance, institutional settlements, and AI-driven use cases. Reserves are maintained in segregated accounts and undergo quarterly independent audits supplemented by on-chain cryptographic proofs.

Athena, CEO of United Stables, emphasized that adopting Chainlink infrastructure strengthens confidence among users, institutional partners, and DeFi protocols by delivering secure, transparent, and scalable data services.
