TMTG will launch a paid API on August 1, 2026, providing institutional clients with real-time, licensed access to posts on its Truth Social platform, including those by Donald Trump. The service targets high-frequency and algorithmic trading firms seeking low-latency data feeds.

Kevin McGurn, interim CEO of TMTG, states the API aims to deter illegal scraping and create a new revenue stream through recurring high-margin fees. Trump Media intends to use the market-moving potential of presidential posts, which have impacted assets like oil and bitcoin amid geopolitical tensions such as the Iran-US conflict.

The Truth API will deliver influential posts in a machine-readable format to facilitate rapid trading responses. Besides Donald Trump, posts from Donald Trump Jr, Eric Trump, and FBI director Kash Patel will supplement the feed. The service emphasizes quality of influence over volume, enabling traders to capitalize on swift arbitrage opportunities.

The company positions Truth Social as a premium data source distinct from free, unauthorized feeds. This move comes as Trump Media seeks alternatives to cryptocurrency-related revenue amid financial pressures. The initiative highlights a growing trend of social media content being monetized as financial market data.
