Blockmaze has officially been awarded a Guinness World Records title for holding the most financial regulatory licenses at the launch of a blockchain ecosystem, surpassing 40 licenses.
The accolade was presented during a ceremony that included UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and representatives from various industry sectors, including the Finvasia Group and Guinness World Records officials.
Significance of the Record
Tajinder Virk, Co-Founder and CEO of Blockmaze, emphasized that achieving over 40 regulatory authorizations across its ecosystem signifies a major milestone. He stated that while tokenization is essential, the true breakthrough occurs when tokens are legally recognized as real-world assets operating in regulated markets. This requires a solid framework of regulatory, financial, and compliance infrastructure.
Comprehensive Blockchain Ecosystem
Blockmaze aims to combine licensing, compliance, custody, and payment solutions to support the management of tokenized assets across regulated jurisdictions. Virk highlighted the importance of every token representing something tangible, ensuring verifiable ownership and governance.
Puneet Mangla, Co-Founder and COO, noted that the record reflects Blockmaze’s commitment to establishing a regulated blockchain ecosystem. He asserted that the future of tokenized finance hinges on trust, institutional-grade infrastructure, and global compliance.
Mbali Nkosi, an official adjudicator from Guinness World Records, remarked that this title recognizes the extensive number of approved financial licenses held by a blockchain ecosystem at launch.
