The Africa Blockchain Festival (ABF) has introduced AMBCrypto as its official media partner for the upcoming ABF2026 event, set to take place from October 15 to 17, 2026, at the Sarit Expo Center in Nairobi, Kenya.

Event Details

This year's festival revolves around the theme 'Capital, Code, and Continuity: Building Africa’s Permanent Digital Economy' and anticipates over 3,000 registered delegates across the first two days. Moreover, it expects to attract more than 10,000 participants from Nairobi’s tech and business communities during the exhibition.

Attendees will include blockchain developers, enterprise leaders, institutional investors, and regulators from Africa and around the world. The festival aims to surpass the success of its inaugural event in Kigali, Rwanda, which welcomed over 2,000 participants from more than 20 countries.

Structure of the Festival

The three-day agenda is segmented into three key pillars:

  • Day 1 Capital: Involves investors, fintech leaders, and policymakers, featuring keynote speeches, investor panels, and a networking reception.
  • Day 2 Code: Focuses on developers and protocol builders, offering technical keynotes and hands-on workshops, as well as a Startup Pitch Competition.
  • Day 3 Continuity: This invite-only day includes a football tournament, a curated tour of Nairobi, and a closing dinner with keynote speeches.

Pre-Event Activities

In the lead-up to the main festival, ABF will host the Block & Chill Pan-African Roadshow across seven cities including Nairobi, Lagos, and Cape Town from July 2026. This initiative aims to build community engagement and activate sponsorships in key African markets.

Prior sponsors have praised the event's impact and its extensive reach across the continent, indicating a strong potential for community and industry collaboration.
