Avery Ching, CEO of Aptos Labs, highlighted the potential impact of upcoming US digital asset regulations on institutional investment during a recent interview on the YouTube channel 3PROTV. He pointed out that the passage of the CLARITY Act could be a key driver in attracting financial institutions and major corporations into the crypto market.

Ching noted that clearer regulatory measures would ease the current legal uncertainties surrounding cryptocurrency, providing a safer environment for institutional players. He emphasized that establishing a solid legal framework through the GENIUS Act and CLARITY Act is key for the sustainable growth of the digital asset ecosystem.

Legal Framework and Market Transformation

According to Ching, these two pieces of legislation are poised to become foundational structures that will shape the future development of the digital asset market. He predicted a significant transformation in global financial markets within the next five years, driven by asset digitalization and broader adoption of artificial intelligence technologies. This change will enable traditional products such as US Treasury bonds, money market funds, and stocks to be traded more efficiently via blockchain infrastructure.

Ching added that such advancements could reduce transaction costs, accelerate clearing times, and widen access for global investors.

Meanwhile, Aptos Labs is expanding its ecosystem through partnerships. The Aptos blockchain network, which the company developed, has been selected as a core blockchain partner for the OpenUSD (OUSD) next-generation stablecoin project. This collaboration aims to enhance OpenUSD's technical infrastructure and promote enterprise use cases of the Aptos network.

Experts suggest that full regulatory clarity in the US could substantially increase interest from banks, investment firms, and institutional investors, potentially accelerating blockchain adoption and the inflow of new capital into the sector.
