Analysts have identified $5, $8, and $13 as potential price milestones for the cryptocurrency SUI by the end of 2026, despite its current trading around $0.78. This level marks a significant 85.7% decrease from its all-time high of $5.35 reached in January 2025, implying the first target near $5 demands almost a sixfold price increase.
Market expert Michael van de Poppe highlighted SUI on July 13 as an altcoin exhibiting 'early signs of recovery' alongside tokens like ARB, UNI, and AAVE. He noted infrastructure-layer tokens such as SUI are gaining strength, suggesting that Layer-1 networks might be on the verge of an uptrend. However, his outlook remains broadly market-focused and does not specify exact price targets within the anticipated $5 to $13 range.
Technical Outlook and Network Stability
SUI's onchain chart has been described by some analysts as one of the cleanest in the crypto space, with a bullish higher timeframe structure that could support upward momentum if the current trend continues. Despite this positive technical setup, the price gains over the past week have been modest, increasing about 1.6%.
The network's recent reliability issues pose a backdrop for these analyst predictions. In May, the Sui Foundation reported three major outages totaling over 15 hours caused by software upgrade bugs affecting gas-fee logic and the randomness protocol during validator restarts. The foundation assured that user funds remained safe with no reversed transactions and has since implemented fixes. These developments are critical for maintaining the network stability required for consistent trading activity and validating a bullish technical narrative.
