Between 2024 and 2026, Solana surged by over 233% in real-world asset (RWA) growth, making it the fastest-growing blockchain in this segment.
Solana outpaced the Binance Smart Chain, which recorded 216% growth and led in tokenized US treasuries, according to data from RWA.xyz and Solana Daily's X post.
The strong expansion in RWAs highlights Solana’s capacity to capture genuine utility amid a broader crypto market slowdown.
On the decentralized exchange (DEX) front, Solana dominated, processing more than $60 billion in trading volume over the past 30 days, nearly triple the Binance Smart Chain’s $21 billion.
This DEX volume also exceeded the combined totals of Binance Smart Chain, Robinhood, and Ethereum networks despite Robinhood’s highly anticipated chain launch.
Most of Solana’s DEX activity originated from Pump.fun, a popular crypto launchpad, where meme coins account for the largest share of new launches. This suggests the DeFi volume is primarily speculative compared to the RWA segment.
Despite these network achievements, Solana's native token, SOL, remains close to its July opening price, trading at approximately $76 at press time.
SOL has endured a nine-month downward trend with consecutive monthly losses, consolidating near its Q1 lows. The next two weeks will be critical in determining whether SOL can reverse this pattern.
