Injective's INJ token is sitting at a technical crossroads. Trading around $4.93, the asset has spent years compressing into a narrow range, and now analyst Crypto Patel says a five-year downtrend is finally under pressure. The price structure shows higher lows forming within an accumulation zone, and when INJ breaks out on a weekly basis, the targets stack up: $8, $16, $31, $53, and eventually $100.

The token has already weathered two vicious corrections that exceeded 95% in losses. Recovery from that kind of damage usually means something structural has shifted underneath. In INJ's case, two things are working in its favor. Network fundamentals have tightened considerably. Nearly all of the total token supply is now in circulation, with over 56 million INJ staked across validators. The network runs a deflationary burn mechanism that steadily reduces supply over time. Institutional adoption of real-world assets keeps accelerating, and Injective's native mainnet presence on Coinbase signals growing mainstream acceptance.

Bridge to sixty chains opens new routes

The catalyst arriving this week is concrete: Injective integrated with LI.FI Protocol, a bridge aggregator that connects over sixty blockchains. Users can now move INJ and native USDC directly between Injective's native environment and Ethereum Virtual Machine compatible networks through a single interface. More chains mean more liquidity pools, more trading pairs, and lower friction for large transfers. This type of plumbing rarely moves prices on its own, but it removes friction that institutions worry about when entering a chain.

The combination matters. A token sitting at a technical breakout point with improving on-chain fundamentals and a freshly expanded cross-chain presence tends to attract accumulation. INJ is up fractionally this week despite broader market chop. Traders are clearly waiting for confirmation that the break above the five-year resistance actually holds.
