Deribit and SignalPlus have launched their fifth and largest trading competition, named The Island, with a total prize pool of up to $600,000 USDC. The competition will run for 35 days, featuring both solo and team challenges.

The registration period for The Island began on June 29, 2026, and will close on August 10, 2026. The competition itself started on July 6, 2026, and will also conclude on the same date in August at 23:59 UTC. Participants are required to trade through SignalPlus on the Deribit platform.

Competition Structure and Mechanics

The campaign is designed around eleven competitive arenas, focusing on various aspects such as daily reward loops, team participation, whale incentives, and a novel deposit experience named Mystery Box. Trading volume will determine standings, with options weighted at 1.0 and futures at 0.5.

Early Bird Incentives and Additional Details

Additionally, among the first 10 users to reach a trading volume of 200 million by July 12, one lucky participant will win two RIMOWA suitcases valued at 5,000 USDC.

The initiative is managed by DRB Panama Inc and targets eligible retail traders. It is important to note that the competition is not available to residents of Dubai, UAE. The campaign carries risks associated with market volatility.
