On August 25, 2025, Centers Laboratory first detected unusual activity within its IT systems. Following this discovery, the company swiftly isolated the affected systems and initiated an investigation with the help of third-party forensic specialists. The inquiry revealed that the breach lasted from August 9 to August 14, during which the unauthorized party copied various records.
In response to the breach, Centers Laboratory has urged those impacted to utilize their right to a free annual credit report from credit bureaus such as Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. The company has also implemented enhanced security measures to bolster its data protection efforts to avert future incidents.
