Bitget Adds U.S. Stock Options to Its Multi-Asset Stock+ Platform
Bitget has launched U.S. stock options trading on its Stock+ platform, positioning itself as the only major crypto exchange offering options on U.S.-listed equities alongside crypto and other asset classes. The initial release includes long call and long put strategies for eligible users.

Crypto exchange Bitget has introduced U.S. stock options trading on its Stock+ platform, making it the only major crypto exchange to offer options on U.S.-listed companies alongside crypto, contract-for-difference products in gold, forex, commodities, and indices, the company said in a statement to Bitcoin Magazine on July 2, 2026.
The initial rollout covers long call and long put strategies for eligible users. A call option allows a trader to take a bullish position on a stock; a put option provides a bearish view or downside hedging tool. Risk for buyers is capped at the premium paid, and options can expire worthless if the anticipated price move does not materialize.
The new options product joins an existing lineup within Stock+ that already includes tokenized stocks and pre-IPO access to private market opportunities. Bitget describes Stock+ as a direct-access venue for U.S. equities designed for traders accustomed to regulated stock market infrastructure.
The launch comes as demand for listed options reaches record levels. The U.S. options market processed more than 15.2 billion contracts in 2025, averaging approximately 60 million contracts per trading day, reflecting growing use among retail and institutional participants for directional trading, hedging, and capital management.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen commented: «We have moved first to connect stock opportunities with our users. From tokenized stocks to now options, we are executing on convergence. Our products provide advanced trading access to stocks, gold, crypto and worldwide assets.»
The current release focuses on single-leg options buying as an entry point. The company said it plans to introduce additional functionality, including multi-leg strategies, as the Stock+ options product matures.
As a promotional incentive, eligible users who complete their first U.S. stock options trade may receive $15 in NVIDIA stock, subject to campaign terms and regional availability.
Bitget reported more than 125 million users and access to over two million crypto tokens, along with 500-plus tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, foreign exchange instruments, and precious metals including gold. The exchange states it leads the tokenized traditional-finance market across 150 regions. The company holds partnerships with MotoGP and UNICEF, the latter aimed at supporting blockchain education for 1.1 million people by 2027.
