Davao City, Philippines, July 10th, 2026 STARTRADER has officially initiated the renovation of the basketball court at Communal Elementary School in Buhangin, with a groundbreaking ceremony held on site. This redevelopment is part of STARCARES' ongoing commitment to enhancing sports infrastructure in communities, aiming to benefit around 20,000 individuals, including students, staff, parents, and local residents.

The upgraded facility will serve approximately 2,000 students, 72 staff members, 1,600 parents, and around 16,000 residents from Barangay Communal. This project aims to provide a functional recreational area that meets the needs of the community, supporting physical education, school events, and organized sports. It also offers a venue for local residents to engage in recreational activities.
